Individual Stableford

One of the Countries Top Welders, who met & fell in love with Ruth when she was just 16 and a Trainee legal executive with Chip Puttit and Drive. John has 3 great loves, his Wife, His Dog and then us lot up here. Looking at the list of his Family, we may be slipping down the order a little.
Inseparable in Life and in Town, where they walk hand-in-hand daily to pick up his roll-up baccy, Sporting Life and the latest Barbara Cartland novel in the Charity shops.
Congratulations John & Ruth and see you in March when you re-join us for Summer Golf.

Bryan & John - Putting the World to rights as usual

And back to the Roll-Up....
A really nice and pleasant sunny day saw our biggest number of attendees for a long while. Some really good scores were reflective of the conditions and the handicap secretary was eager to have some of the cards as he must have felt the need, hence coming back from Portugal for this reason.  It was nice to see some old faces that have been absent for a while on the golf course and in the club house. Hopefully we will see them more often in coming days & weeks.

Forty Five seniors turned up to play today’s 3 ball individual stableford format. As it was an individual event and many attendees, prizes were awarded to 3 divisions and the prize money was based on the numbers in each group. Six participants in division 3, Twenty in division 2 and Nineteen in division 1.  Results and scores were as follows
