Friday 7th February 2020
4-Ball Medalford

Winter League - Captain has looked at the weather and decided to postphone Monday's Round as it will be waterlogged and buggyless at the very best,  after Storm Ciara. Being the first people out on the roads after such high winds is an unnecessary risk to our members. If we do play anything let's look at a Texas Scramble and we'll follow early Birds lead.

SENIOR SUBSCRIPTIONS

The £3.00 Seniors subs are due from the date of the AGM in November 2019. To date there are 31 Seniors who have not paid for this year.

Some of those 31 are playing in the roll-ups!!!

I will put a full list of members on the notice board and a copy will be available at roll-up draws.

The names in RED need to pay

Please pay the £3.00 either at roll-up or place in an envelope and put in the Seniors Box on the filing cabinet or to the treasurer.

Winnings will be paid out only to full members.

Many thanks

Keith Branchflower (Treasurer)

May I ask for a favour and hope that all seniors will adhere to this request. Marking cards correctly is an issue and it takes a long time for someone to go through them and sort out the scores correctly. When playing stableford put your score on the column relating to the players score and stableford points on the Nett/Points column and likewise when playing a medal round, put the gross score on the relevant column and the Nett score on the Nett/Points column. Thank you for your cooperation

The day of calm before the storm saw a good turn up for today’s standard 4B Medalford, 1st pair  playing Medal and the second pair playing Stableford. Today’s event was attended by 39 seniors with three playing the rolling monthly stableford round. Chris Rudling scoring 43 points and Chris Gingell scoring 40 points. Nick Gabb couldn’t match the other two playing partners and only finishing with a respectable 30 points.

Now back to main event of the day. Again some very noticeable scores, with the early birds occupying 2 of the top 3 positions.
