See Lyme Regis Jurassic Sheet in External Comps.

St Patrick's Day moved to Wednesday 18th March due to clash with away-day - List and menu will be up shortly.

Des Denning & Celia spotted out strolling around Chard and looking pretty fit.

With the threat of some rain that didn’t materialise, there were some really good scores today. With Colin busy to earn the affection of a hungry pheasant on the 2nd, he left the scoring to his playing partner Robin who did rather well. Unfortunately he didn’t quite achieve his aim despite sharing his cheese crackers with the bird.

Back to golf, 37 seniors turned up for today’s 4BBB event with Clive from Fisk from the early birds choosing to play Rolling stableford rather than join the late group. Luckily it wouldn’t have made much of difference as one person from the late group would have had to play rolling stableford instead. Average score for the day was 39 points with a rage of 31 to 46. The top four teams scored between 43 and 46 points. I am going to take some credit for the score of winning team as I gave a couple of tips on pitching to Bob White who struggled with his chipping on Friday and since his score was excellent today, I assume that my advice didn’t go waste. Well done Bob ( I will be expecting that dinner promise you made to become a reality soon).

We had another incident of wrongly marked card today with Gordon’s 4 on the 5th being marked as a 5 for 2 points. I know it is difficult to check your cards every time, but with the regular occurrences of incorrect markings, a two minute check of your marked cards will not go amiss. Please check your cards and by doing so hopefully the markers will get fed up of marking your cards wrongly and pay a bit more attention .

46 Points and two '2's'    for this handy combo

Yes, Peter's Month long abstinence is over as alcohol is back into his life once more...
Freddie Oliver over for a visit as Sea Air shrinks him over a foot. Now has lovely bungalow in Lyme Regis with Sea View and close to LRGC, where he plays his golf...well Freddie Golf anyway !!

Clubhouse Leaders for most of the day until very last card was handed over to pip them by a single point. Roger was most impressed with Martin's new swing which has added awesome power and accuracy. ..all by keeping that left arm straight thanks to Roy the Pro.

Last group started on 16th and had the pin surrounded, but sadly not a single "Two" was sunk.
Danny's Dilemma as Chris Basterfield flies in unexpectedly to refute
claims that he broke Danny's Wrist.
"It was his Thumb  and not a 'sh***k' but a great shot, with Danny just standing in the wrong place.".
..then there was a puff of smore and the tanned and relaxed Intercontinental traveller disappeared once more.

Bob and Richard got a head early and never looked back....

Spotted in the Crown Hotel, Bridport - could this be our Course Marshall on the Bongos ?
