Winter League Final
Final day of the Winter league was played
in not so easy conditions and the task of catching up the leaders was even more
difficult than one would have expected. The overall score was the 2nd
lowest average of the six rounds played. This left the leaders winning by 10
points from their closest challengers. Well done to Alan Chance, John Evans
& Stuart Pope.
There was another wrongly marked card
today depriving Mark Cording and David Mugridge of £7.00. Their score of 41
would have won the 3rd placing with a score of 41. Sadly their card
was marked as 4 for 3 points instead of 3 for 3 points. This problem is
occurring so often maybe people should check their gross score as well as their
points score!!!
There were FOUR 2’s which earned £3.60 per 2 per team. Today’s scores & winners are as follows:
1st Chris Gingell & James Siabi 42 points B9 £6.00 each
2nd Bob Barrow & Roger Stone 42 points £5.00 each
3rd Neil Cochran & Mark Sanders 41 points B9 £3.50 each
