Lucky with the weather today with showers holding off as 19 earlies and 23 later
Seniors played in a Medalford competition. Yet again none of the early group were
prepared to hold back to be first off at 9am resulting in a four ball, having started on
the 16th, holding up proceedings. Having personally tried so hard to nicely beseech
members to be considerate time has come to be more assertive. The committee will
be tabling proposals at the AGM in November to settle the problem.
Meanwhile people should consider if they wish to be part of an inclusive section.
That off my chest, medalford today brought it's own challenges and many struggled.

Mike King produced the best back nine stableford score of 23 points to finish
second but the really solid round came from John MacOmish to comprehensively win with
a superb net score of 10.
Breakdown of individual scores is shown below. With Phil's double birdie on the first there
were eleven birdies altogether worth £1.90 each.
