Four Ball Better Ball Competition.
Wednesday 8th May 2019
Over night rain and high winds contributed to a poor turnout for today's better ball
competition. There was a threat of sharp showers but we were lucky to only have
a couple of quick downpours which soon rattled though. As there were only a few
early birds they decided to do their own thing but the later group of seventeen
players did form pairs and Roger Davis was drawn to complete an individual
rolling stableford.
Vice James Siabi, recovered from the flu, to win the day playing with Mark Cording scoring 42 points. In general the scoring was useful and as there were seven birdies the
spoils were spread quite evenly across the board. Full results are listed
