Mates Day – 4BBB
We were short of a Mathematician today as 17 members
(including 2 new recruits to the Senior’s
section) turned up. We only had 4 tee times and it was beyond our
collective capabilities to devise a format for 17 players with only 4 tee
times. Fortunately, Mac Everitt graciously stood aside, enabling us to play a
4BBB. This was won by one of our new Seniors, Anthony Roy, who played with
Chris Hiam.
I handed in my card to our scrutineer with some slight expectation
only to be told gruffly “Not good enough”. I promised not to mention our
scrutineer’s score, but let us just say, he was not at the races.
We did not have a birdie competition.
