Irish Waltz 3,2,1

THURSDAY 14TH MARCH

With East Devon currently having a  trolley ban and some pretty dire weather due Tuesday it looks like we may have to postpone the first round of the Challenge Cup.

Can everyone keep an eye on the blog for an update early this week after Norman has spoken with East Devon Secretary.

Thinking of you guys so sorry for the bad weather..
..Here in Palm Desert it is sunny and very warm, with beautiful golf courses.
Best wishes to everybody in the Seniors Section-Edmondo

Forty five seniors believed the weather forecast, which said rain after 14:00 hrs, and turned out for a three man Irish Waltz and surprise they were not let down.
The 3-2-1 competition leaves no margin for error on the holes where all three are to count and thus overall scores can be modest and today only one team was able to score better than par.
74 from Paul, Mike and Gordon won the day.
Fred Oliver, Martyn Putland and Tom Downey tried to throw us a curve ball but 34 out and 31 back only adds up to 65, not 75.
Good scorers are better than good players! Also birdies were less than usual and paid out over £1 each.
