Committee v The Rest
CHALLENGE-CUP AT EAST DEVON ON THURSDAY 14TH


Good turnout today for the annual Committee V The Rest Texas Scramble. This was a regular Texas format where the average committee score was matched against the average score for the other Senior members.


.or maybe just play better !
This competition was for bragging rites only but it is obvious from the scoring that the pressures of high office can weigh heavily on the quality of golf played by the Committee and they obviously should have received numerous courtesy shots.
 Not withstanding , may I congratulate the Rest on a fine victory. Full results are shown below.





May I add my birthday wishes to Bryan Frost for tomorrow Tuesday. Yet another Super Senior to join the ever growing ranks. Brian having paid your £3 sub only four months ago, following an emergency committee meeting it has been decided unfortunately you are not entitled to a £2 refund, sorry.

The average Committee score was 65.4, The Rest 63.8.

A resounding victory for the rank and file.

Nett 60 was best score today  and only Team to make Gross Par.
