Remember Brean Golf Club, up by Pontins - well the chicken shed is no more.

Solid turnout again today, numbers are taking on a pattern of around the 45 to 50 mark for each roll-up.
Weather forecasts or threats of approaching systems does
little to deter our golfing stalwarts.
Five early groups and Ten later groups played the 3 man Bowmaker. Please see
below for the team scores and allocated prize money.
Congratulations to Clive, David and Ron for winning the day with
the solid score of 78 points.
There were nine birdies including two '2's, both scored on the ninth hole.
One was for Chris Gingell and the other, a fine five pointer, for Geoff Dean.- with Geoff at 83 walking 18 holes due to back-9 buggy-ban
Looking down the scores one stands out, that of Mike Hone, Eric Williams and Nick Hill. Their all three to count score of
37 points for the last six holes could have won the day if they had
got off to anything like a decent start. Forging on having
only scored 6 points in the first five holes shows real battling qualities. Well done!

One thing that does make sense is to ensure you buy a few tickets for Dickie's Monthly Draw as Jenny has built a very tasty looking Hamper and worth a few pounds of anyone's money..even if you lose the Guide Dogs will win.
..and don't forget to bid on the carry-Bag mentioned on Friday, see previous post
