Roll-Up Report Monday 4th December 2017
3-Ball Texas Scramble (Min 4-Drives)
12 early birds and 36 late seniors played in the scramble today + two playing the rolling stableford in somewhat warmer and dry conditions, we were still waiting around today, we even had three or four holes were three teams were all on the same hole.
(But I think it was faster Captain, we were 2nd last out and finished by 13:30 having started on 16th.)

There were six 2s today paying £1.33 per person
Best wishes to Ian Griffiths on his recovery from his Prostate Operation as he returned home on Saturday.
Also good to see Mike Light who has managed to get a carer on Monday's for his wife Grace, who continues to worsen.
Chris B had a nasty shock when he got back home as he found the front door had been ripped off, all the windows were open and many items of value had been taken.
I expressed deepest sympathy for such a thing to happen during the Festive Season,
"Yes, he replied, it was terrible. Who on earth would do that to an Advent Calendar ?"
Talk about nasty shock ( excuse pun) as Brian Hodder's Buggy burst into flames on 13th and never quite made the top of the hill.
We watched as Team in 4th place lost a shot on 10th hole. Great pitch from Rod which went passed the pin, hit the slope and rolled back to the pin, stopping 3 feet short, but with a downhill putt.Best wishes to Ian Griffiths on his recovery from his Prostate Operation as he returned home on Saturday.

Rod was first and it lipped out..and continued on 2 feet more, Keith came from the left and failed to improve their position. Nick stepped up, looking nervous and merely started the ball rolling...but after a few left / right moves it too sailed past the hole and 3rd place was gone. Such are the small margins in a competitive Scramble.
