25th October Roll Up Report
1.      Eary Birds  All Three to Count Stableford
2.      Late Starters 2 to count from 4

Originally the competition for today was an Individual  Stableford  All to Count in teams of three.

Unfortunately at the very last moment it was found that we didn’t have enough T Times to accommodate the 44 later players that turned up, to enable them to go out in three balls. In the absence of the Captain, the Late starters played an individual stableford with 2 to count  from each team of 4. As a result there are two results charts today.

There were 2 birdies paying each player £1

Green keepers hard at it on 8th and 11th Tees.

As Roger says, people just kept coming and coming , including James Dick & Mark Cording who were too late to be included. As we passed 15 Tee slots Barrie went down to pro Shop and managed another Tee, but still not enough. Switched to 4 balls but we never play Individuals in 4-Ball as it is just painstakingly slow so had to change the format to a faster game. As it was the last ones back in were well past 14:00 and that's with starting on 16th !

Pete 3-Names bet I would not mention my errant Tee-Shot on 1st which disappeared into Tractor Shed ..but with a dislocated little finger, I have plenty of excuses.
Saw John Wallis in Car Park & he is in for Surgery a week Monday on both his Heart & Lungs, so we wish him well although he seems to be taking it in his stride.
