23rd October Roll Up Report
3 Man Texas Scramble (replacing the programmed competition)
With the weather again being against us, rain and mist
prevailing, the promulgated Roll Up of a MedalFord was abandoned and a Texas
Scramble was played in lieu.
There were three temporary greens and the course was
extremely wet under foot. There was also a ban on Buggies. Seventeen Seniors turned out for the competition, and the weather decided to improve, as forecast. The rain stopped and the mist cleared, and the
temperature rose slightly.
There were three 2’s paying £3 per Two, £1 per Two, per
person.
