CHANGE TO ROLL-UP CASH PAYOUTS
The Club
Management is concerned that some Senior members do not collect their cash
winnings from the Proshop within a reasonable time. This creates a security risk with cash being
left on the premises.
Some
envelopes have not been collected since August.
Any
envelopes not collected by this weekend will have the contents paid into the
members club account.
The cash
payout option will no longer available.
With effect
from Friday 20th October all winnings will be paid into the members
club accounts which can be used in all areas of the club – Bar/restaurant,
Proshop, Practice Range, Buggy hire.

19th
October 2017. Winter League 2017/18.
This popular 4BBB competition over 8 rounds, the best 6 rounds to count, will start on Monday 6th November. This is a pairs competition, 90% of full handicap with the best Stableford score to count. Maximum handicap to play off is 28 and even if you play off more than 28 you can still take part making this a competition for all members of the seniors. If for some reason only one member of a team is available to play then that player will be allowed to play off their full handicap. It is our aim to play this competition on all roll-up days.
We are aiming to get four rounds completed by Christmas and depending on the weather, to finish the competition by the end of March 2018.
Please enter your teams on the sheet in the changing room. Draw times will be displayed and on the blog as soon after the previous round as possible. Entry £2 team plus £1.50 p.p. round.
Remember, this will take only eight days from early November to the end of March and will be the rollup format for that day.
18th October Roll Up Report
Canadian Greensomes (MEDAL)
Again today the course was closed until 0845 when the restriction was lifted to” Play at your own risk”. It seems that although the mist did not lift much, by calling out Fairway Clear and Green Clear we all managed to get round without too much trouble.
34 Seniors played in the Canadian Greensomes, and although the scores were quite average for the conditions, one pair had a great round and managed a gross score of 78 with their 3/8ths combined handicap taken off had a nett medal score of 65.25 which was 4.25 shots clear of the field.
There were 5 Birdies, paying £3.40 per Birdie , £1.70 per Birdie per player.
