Medal minus Stableford  – 9^th November 2015

 

On a very difficult day for golf with strong winds and heavy ground, no one played to their handicap, although Nick George scored 35 points. Nick and Richard Forster were the only players who managed to keep a 7  off their cards.

 

The scrutineer placed Mike Mosser and Roger Withers in 3^rd place by virtue of a better back nine. He took the medal back nine score minus half the handicap less the Stableford score. Congratulations to Nick and his partner Martin Leigh who won by 5 shots.

 

There were only 4 birdies and each birdie paid £4.60 per team.

The usual domestic handicap reductions apply, 2 shots for the winners and 1 shot for the runners-up.

 

Wednesday’s rollup is the first Turkey Trot which is a Medal played from the yellow tees.

 

Don’t forget Friday’s AGM. The rollup will be played over 13 holes to enable the meeting to get of to a timely start. Proceeds from the rollup will go to Children in Need.
