Sad news of about a Club Member
Just heard from my builder about the passing of Billy Parsons, a 64 Year-old Carpenter / Builder from Ilminster. His Wife apparently came home from a weekend Christmas Shopping trip to London with her Daughter, couldn't get in the house and called the Police, who found Billy inside.
William James Parsons was a well known local sportsman and was a 10 Handicap Golfer.

Mon 29th June - Memorial Trophy today -Stunning win by John Sweet threesome but with Sweetie getting 3 shots on some holes, he could not be discounted as he scored a 3 for 4 points on Par 3 13th - 42 out, 42 back - narrowly beat the leading earlies team.
