Latest as of Wed Morning, just awaiting Course Status...but can we find a little weather window ?
Given the recent weather, quite remarkably there was a
solitary temporary green. Some paths
were a bit muddy but generally the course was extremely playable. The scores generally show this, with an
excellent 75 points the clear winner.
Andy Rowland received a call from his unwell Wife hence the NR, so I
hope she is feeling better and on the mend.
3 x 3 points; 2 x 2 points and the zero points of Messrs.
Cording, Mugridge and Heath, which embarrassingly was also the only nil pointer
in the competition.
However the 8 was surpassed by a 9 point return on the 16th by the runners up, which also aided their back 6 verdict over the third place team. The old adage 'beware of the injured golfer' again came to fruition, as Dave Taylor fell over on the 7th, it must have been bad as he described the incident " I went over nearly breaking my leg".
They then had the audacity to
finish second anyway.
