have taken the following list from the club's booking system for this Friday.
We need others to join in and fill in the slots to make them all into 4 balls (For a 2-ball Scramble) or by players moving from one slot to another. Please let me know any
rearrangements taking place

Looks Like Vpar scores it as a Medal - but no matter, just one score is entered, so we will have to trust you on the 6 Drives rule... Handicaps have already been adjusted as above.
Even though we are playing a Scramble, please ensure you maintain the safe distancing rules,
2 metres apart, plus 1 extra for the Captain

Please can you put on the blog that my 7 Iron a Callaway Razr X with call away head cover was left leaning against the information board on the 3rd Tee.
I went back to the Tee yesterday after my round and it wasn’t there. I have phoned the club this morning and no one has handed it in.

Up Coming Competitions
1. Individual summer knockout to be played on Fridays
2. Two
man team (randomly drawn) knockout to be played on Mondays.

Entries will be closed on Tuesday 16th June.
Once the matches have been drawn, tee times can be adjusted and switched to
accommodate one’s opponent. I suggest we book 4 balls for Mondays and Fridays.
Winners will be awarded the respective trophies at the AGM.

Wednesday 10th June Individual Stableford
Qualifier
Our first qualifier of the year went
really well. In total 33 participants with some very good scores got us under
the way and hopefully we will have more participating in future events. As
mentioned in previous communiques, we are going to have one qualifier per week
alternating between Stableford and Medal. We already have a lot interest in
next week’s event and we like to see more of you fellow seniors out there
playing and enjoying the game. Please send me messages (text, WhatsApp or
email) if you like to participate. It will be a drawn game and I need to have
all the participants confirmation by 6 pm on Monday 15th.
I watched our handicap secretary struggle
with his clearly painful left knee, unable to turn and the expression of pain
on his face told the story. Get that knee rested and hope it is sorted soon.

For this Friday we are going to play 2B Scramble. If you want to
participate please make your tee times a 4 ball. As I get the entry list from
the club’s booking system, please call the pro shop and make the necessary
changes. Please join in and let’s have fun together. So drop me a notification
if intend to participate.
I have noticed that when you setup your VPAR, you left
the handicap setting to VPAR handicap. You need to change this to profile
handicap (your club handicap). VPAR tracks your handicap each time you play and
keeps a separate handicap called VPAR handicap. It is a reflection of how you
are playing. TO CHANGE the preferred handicap, click on Profile, setup icon
(top right hand corner) you will see your handicap (correct it as per list
above) and click on preferred handicap next to it and set the option to Profile
instead of VPAR.
