Wednesday 10^th June Stableford Qualifier Rules

To enter the qualifier please logon to CST site (My golf page) , and on Upcoming Competitions selections click on Seniors Stableford. It will take you to next page, click  Online Signup and click Continue after which it will take you to the final page with the message

You have been successfully entered into the Seniors Stableford competition

Please note that you need to book a tee time for this Wednesday’s qualifier. So if you haven’t booked a tee time, call the Pro Shop and make a booking. Please ask to partner existing seniors golfers that have bookings on the system.

Paul Matthews has a tee-time booked for 10.26 and would love someone to join him and   mark his card and get a qualifier registered. Please help if you can.

This Wednesday qualifier Rules:

·        All bunkers are GUR for this qualifier and beyond until such time that the rakes are in use.

You do know you can take a free drop today ?

·        For scoring either use VPAR if you have it loaded (only one member in a group has to have a mobile to do this) or ask your playing partner to fill a card for you with your details and score and you likewise do a card for him. On completion take a photo of the card and either send to John Wandless (Our handicap secretary) via mobile communication or email. Remember you can all play these games, you don't need a smart phone etc - only 7 people below used their phone as one person entered details for all 4 in their group.

Maybe James could change the Team Names format to make better use of the displayed characters - Maybe even JS/DM for example for himself and Dave...just saying....

This Wednesday we are holding our first qualifier of the year. All the internal competitions have been put back to August and beyond. Hopefully we will be able to set up the Super Seniors and the Seniors Championship sometime in August.

Edmundo has a spare slot at 08:42 - why not join him ?

For the Month of June no money is involved in competitions. They may change this policy from July. So for the time being we are only playing for points.

 As of the following week, we have been given a block booking for Wednesdays between 8:30 and 10:00. So there will be a qualifier every Wednesday until further notice. Anyone wishing to enter the comp, have to inform me by Monday evening so that I can put them on the list. Once I have all the participants, a random draw will be made to make up the teams and the order of play. Those who wish to play earlier can do so but they also have to inform me of their wish to be in the qualifier so that we can set the CST computer up for the entries.

Now it's funny I was looking for some support poles to put up a Plasterboard Ceiling and then this came in from Johnny S - which would be very handy providing I keep still...
