Friday 28th February 2020
2 from 3 Discard

Monday 13th July away day at Woodbury
(Remember there will be no Roll-Up on that day due to Ladies South-West Rally)
I have had feedback on Captain's Away day being too long and not many seniors willing to play 27 holes, not to mention the cost. We have altered the schedule to as follows:

Coffee and bap on arrival (11:45)

18 holes on Oak Championship course

2 course meal after golf

Cost including competition(Singles & Team) prizes £55.00

Please register your interest as soon as possible as we have to secure the venue soon.

Regards
James

All  places now taken for the Turkey Outing - Mark will maintain a reserve list, but it's bon voyage to
Messrs Cording; Davis; Wandless; Griffiths; Siabi; Mugridge; Hone and Williams, should be a great trip.

Yes, we did try but storm Jorge was passing through and cold relentless rain meant the Club didn't want anyone out there digging divots.

So Roger 1 & 2 , Nobby, Mark, JKP, Norman and Dicky  put the world to rights as usual.

Dickie carried out the February Draw with 128 Tickets sold
Vice Captain Mark pressed the button and first number was an unsold slot - how could we all ignore 111.
Try again and it was Keith Segal on Number 12 that secured the trio of fine wines.
Next number was Norman's as 53 came into view.

He won the delightful Mrs. Bridges Pickle Bag, filled to the brim with jars of tasty looking delights.
.

Organised Mark was trying to finalise the Turkey Trip and would really appreciate a call  if you were on his Yes/No/Maybe List as he needs to secure your deposits so that he can book the flights and secure the promised discounts. His contact are in the Blogs below.

On the Social Scene, for you and your good Ladies, join us for a bit of fun up at the Club in 3 weeks time . The Club has geared up for this Irish Week, so it would be nice to support them if we can so why not join us - bit of Green in your Outfit would be appreciated, but not compulsory..but of course extra efforts by the usual characters is always appreciated by those that are not so brave. Lyndsey could pretty much come dressed as normal.
