Turkey Trot 1 - 13th November 2019

1- We are short of 3 pairs for the Christmas Cracker. 

2- Keith says we did raffle for the day last
year and I think it will be a good idea to do it this year too. We will need items for the raffle. Captain’s first outing and report

The day started as a pleasant winter sunny day and thankfully ended slightly outcast but no rain until soon after the games were over. A total forty three seniors turned up to play the first round of Turkey Trot. Scores were not as good as the recent past, but nor was the conditions as favourable. There was a turkey on the course and the feedback from the participants that saw it was mixed. Some seeing the funny side while others were saying they have gone off turkey and they will deliberately lose so that they are the recipient of that particular turkey. The rest of you can make your own mind up once you have seen the pictures on the blog. Well done Clive Fisk for making the day a fun day. 

Prizes were awarded to the winners and the runners up of two division amounting to £29 and £14 respectively. There were 12 birdies paying £1.80 per birdie.
