Decent turnout today in pleasant weather which only saw a few
intermittent showers. George Willerton drawn out the last of the early group
stayed back to go out first in the later group. Thank you!
Actually paid off as he featured in the winning groups. In general
scoring for this 3 man team Stableford was depressed. My theory is that as the
ground gets wetter then striking the ball cleanly gets more difficult. By the
time we sort it out Spring will have arrived.
Only six team birdies emphasizes the point. Bob and James raced round
playing in the November Rolling Stableford in under three hours overtaking everyone
but one group only to wait for an hour and a half for the rest of the field to
come in!
