Rollup Report 10th July 2019

3 Ball Stableford

A good turnout of 45 members played a 3 ball Stableford team competition with all three scores to count. There was some discussion before the 9:15 start about whether the scores should be entered into the computer and therefore count as a qualifier. It was also stated that the fixture was not listed on the computer as a qualifier. Because of the confusion, it was decided that this competition would not be a qualifier.

However, the Handicap Secretary has ruled that all future rollup competitions where individual scores are recorded will be qualifiers and members will enter their scores to the computer.

There were 6 Birdies today paying £3.75 per team

Organisation of the 2nd Roll-Up was ultra smooth as John Wandless took charge. He spotted that the 08:50 & 58 slots were not booked so had 6 players out before 09:06 and the first few were back in the Clubhouse before 13:00.

Looking at the Results that have all been entered on the Computer ( by George in the Pro Shop) so that Frank can use them - no handicap adjustments as it was registered as on non-qualifier.

We had entries on 1 card from some teams and 4 cards for another - simplest way is each player to fill out & mark a single card - but no big deal.

Strange to see several players recording 8 & 9 scores for zero points - one Player recorded 5 Zeros.
If you cannot score please pick up and move on - all helps our efforts to speed up play.
