3 ball Scramble
Hot day today and so was the golf with eight three man teams recording nett scores between59 and 60.7.
Every team had the sob story of the 'one that got away' but the real sob story
was Chris Basterfield's team who recorded a winning score of 58.34 only to be DQ'd because one player was erroneously shown as having had only four drives.
It's amazing how often 'winning' scores are scratched and hardly ever the one that wouldn't have threatened the score board.
Bob Barrow mentioned at least three times to include his '2' which was registered on the
14th for an eagle.Although a terrific shot claiming all the '2's pot fell on stony ground.
Our last Texas showed four two's, today there were ten again showing what a high standard of play was achieved today across the board.
