Summer Knockout & 1,2,3 Stableford
Monday Mates day
We have our normal tee-Times so can do 2 Roll-Ups as per normal, but remember anyone can join us - they do not have to be a Senior or even a member ( but paid green fee), or even Male I guess.
How about a simple 2 from 3 Discard Stableford, where we dump the score from a Par 3, Par 4 , Par 5 ( 1,4,10,15) as normal. No Birdies, £1 entry and all money paid out on the day ( or held for you if you have to leave).
We are grateful that the Club allows us tee-times on a bank holiday and we should be as inclusive as possible.
Note:- these are just Blogger suggestions and the Captain/Vice may have an alternative plan for the Day.
Stuart Pope polished off Roger Davis 5&4
Mark Cording dealt with Chris Hiam , 4 & 3
Sid Crisp goes through as Mick Hill has not renewed his membership.

Another stunning day for golf with the ball running faster than
ever as the ground gets harder. Today's competition was a progressive bowmaker
with ten teams of three taking part. This was billed as a day to compete in the
next round of the summer knockout but only two matches were played. Mark
Cording beat Chris Hiam 4 & 3 and Stuart Pope beat Roger Davis 5 & 4.
Matches must be played by June 10th so, be warned, there is now a two week
deadline. Well done to the winning trio, scoring 81 points, of Clive, Terry and
David with a solid score across all three sections. There were eight team
birdies.
