Just had a call from Gordon Hughes, who has resigned himself to a new lifestyle away from CST Golf. He bravely tried to play last Friday , after knee-injections - but it was a wee bitty much despite being in a buggy . His financial Team have calculated the new Buggy Prices ( £15 a Time ) will add £1500 to his £700 Membership even if he just plays twice-weekly. Gordon wishes to thank everyone who was nice to him ( he excluded Mr Pearce) - especially the Eggs and the Early Birds.

Thirty-eight players turned out today for a pairs Canadian
Greensome. The weather was reasonable considering that
storm Freya blew through last night. There were a couple of sharp showers which caused the temperature to dip
sharply but in general we should not complain. Scoring was quite close apart from the runaway winners, Neil Cochan and
Terry Rutherford, who were a full five shots better than the rest of us mere mortals. 2's counted today and with only
two recorded were well worth winning, paying £9.50 per team. The early birds got the worm accounting for three of the
four top spots. Full results below;-
