Fifty one players today for a Three Ball Texas Scramble in cloudy
yet fairly pleasant conditions. We were expecting to still be on temporary greens following a run over of the spring maintenance
programme but all the main greens were back in play.
Welcome back to 6-Handicapper Bob Dennett who I carefully drew with two 30-handicappers to gently wean him into Seniors Golf
This was a closely fought
competition with all the team nett scores in the sixties.
Phil Hunt, Roger
Withers and Gordon Brent won the day with a nett score of 60.37.
Bob Barrow was impressed with how well the score cards were
completed with no hint of a DQ.
Five two's were recorded paying £5.10 per team. Full Scores are
