At 08:10 precisely, Fred Oliver & Paul Matthews strode up the first tee en-route to a great score of 44 with Paul displaying a very strong Finish. At 11:45 they were in the Clubhouse, watching scores of around 33 come in and even the Mighty Wallace & Grommitt team could only manage 41.

Danny and Rod started at 09:22 with a slight dampness in the air . Rod was back to his best as they moved the bar even higher with 45 Points - and the waiting started again.

In came the dangerous Pearce/Taylor team - but luckily for Danny - they held on, as Mugridge/Davis, Heath/Siabi, Chance/Evans ( who scored 46 just days before) - all failed to overtake them.

..but the Threat was still out there as fresh from a series of lessons with the now departed Club Professional - our Captain Peter 3-names paired with Martin 3-Bodies slapped down a stunning 47 in front of Farmer Bob and his Team of Adjudicators.

Nick Hill - Competition Organiser was playing his cards close to his chest. The Cup was on display and the Camera poised.

Bob confirmed the card was in Order - 25 Points in the first 9 Holes, followed by 22 on the back 9 was the Winning Pair.

A Huge crowd was on hand to witness the presentation (Ok, they were a Team from Farrington and Jacqui's Skittle team) - but a crowd they were.

Cheekiest Player of the day was John Wallis, who strode in and helped himself to a Coffee & Bacon Butty - much to the shock of the Farrington Friday Golf Society

Winner of February's Rolling Stableford was Richard Forster with 37points.
Well done Richard, good score, but unfortunately as there were only 3 entries for February the payout is only a modest £4.50.
