Snow up at Cricket
"Where have all the Golfers gone, Long time passing?"
Probably wisely stayed in bed however, twelve snowmen did venture
forth and played a hastily arranged nine hole 2 from 3 better ball. Despite playing on
temporary greens (note- playing with a white ball was impossible), the sun shone, slowly melting
away the snow, and pitting yourself against the unusual conditions proved very enjoyable.
All groups achieved
figures around par and the team of Bob Barrow, Mike Hone and Mike King won the day with a creditable 39 points.
