Roll-Up 4th January 2019
Reverse Bowmaker 3,2,1..The Hard Way
Fish& Chips / Curry Night list now on Notice Board for Friday 11th January.
.
Twelve early players and 21 later players turned out today to
compete in a three ball Reverse Bowmaker.
In addition we had three entries into this Month's Rolling Stableford. The rollers could
have combined into a team but I won't keep on!
Conditions were cold at the start but warmed up throughout the morning. As in all our
Reverse Bowmakers the first six (all to count) scores are crucial and so it proved again today. The results table shows a breakdown of
the scoring so that teams can see where it was all won or lost.
The total of twelve team birdies meant that the payout for each
birdie was only 45p per person but still mounts up nicely if you score four.
It worked out that there were not many entries for last December's
Rolling Stableford but the Winner was Bob Barrow( £5 )with 39 points,
and the Runner-Up Bob Rees( £2.50 )with 35 points. Congratulations
to both.
