computer, on the day the CSS was 69 which left one player being cut from 15 to
13HC, well played with no score on the 1st but still came in with
42pts.

Nick Hill played with a guest today as they were in the money they agreed
that D. Carrington’s money would go into the charity pot.
As the cards
went through the computer individually today and with 5 teams tying on 92 pts
they are not in order on count back just in order on start times.

Also please note that the greenkeepers do
have right of way when working on the course they will call you up or just get
out of the way asap but if they are working on a green you do not play onto the
green when they are still there working as was apparently reported to the
General Manager today.

Reminds me of one of my first ever games up at Windwhistle. Seniors Open, all scores to count. I hadn't been playing ;long and was pleased to be recruited by Reiner Winkler and Brian (RAF)...they had already registered scores of 43 and 42 ( Reiner's Maths) and couldn't wait to see what I had got as they were in a great position.
As my score of 18 was chalked up, Reiner said something rude in German and stormed out & Brian spend the rest of the afternoon pointing at me as he described his woes...
..I learned a lot that day and always give myself a head-start of about 10 to save any embarrassment.

That reminds me. John Twose hits 60 on 22nd of September and would like us to play a special game in his honour - which he will generously sponsor.
The Game is called Bisque. We have Matches on Fri 21st and Monday 24th - so if we want to avoid these day Captain will have to select nearest alternative..or just play on the 21st.
"Bisque" is the name of a golf competition format in which the golfers use handicap strokes, but with a twist. The correct way to apply handicap strokes is in accordance with the handicap ranking of the holes on the golf course (usually found on the scorecard). But in Bisque, each player can apply his or her handicap strokes on any holes they choose.
Is there a catch? Of course: If you want to use a handicap stroke on, say, the third hole, you must announce your intention before teeing off on that hole
