Match versus Enmore
Today was our last home game in the inter club "Friendlies" for 2017
When the Enmore Captain forwarded his team list to me it was obvious to me that they intended to give us a thrashing.
How
wrong could they be, as can be seen by the results low handicapping
does not always mean a win, and as in our case when the higher
handicappers use their shot sensibly then the tables quickly turn.
Game 1. R.Stone and M.King Lost 2 and 1
Game 2. B.Heath and S. Pope Lost 4 and 3
Game 3. J.Wandless and G.Wallace Won 1 Up
Game 4. J.Siabi and C.Gingell Won 1 Up
Game 5. I.Fielder and A.Beale Won 2 Up
Game 6. B.Singleton and N. Hodder Won 5 and 3
Game 7. R.Davis and M.Bargery Won 2 and 1
Well
played all the team, especially Barry and Nobby although getting shots
off the opposition they came up trumps and using their shots wisely the
opposition said they were a couple of Bandits. Thats the way to beat the
opposition by playing pairs matchplay correctly and jelling together.
Our return match against Enmore ( our last game of the season) is on Friday 27th October ,lets see if we can give them a beating on their own turf.
