Winter League Round 4
On a fine
day and a drying course the leaders got better. After some rain overnight and
initially, some doubt if all eighteen holes were going to be open, conditions
improved enough to see some great scores. The leaders from the first three
rounds consolidated their position with a fine 46 points with Jonny Mac having
a great round. There were three teams with more than forty points in the pairs;
Brian Anderson played without a partner today and had an excellent 38 closely followed by four players all
without partners, on 37points. All the results are on the blog and the current
positions in the league table.

It looks as
though Roger and John have extended their lead over Maurice and Richard with
Bob Hollingworth and Rod Young slipping to third place.
There are
still four more rounds to go and the opportunity to delete the two worst scores
if all eight rounds have been completed; a lot can still happen.
The next
round is on Monday week 22nd February. The draw will be posted on the blog over the
weekend and put on the notice board this Monday.
