Cyder Cup Round 3 – Singles 9th October 2015

Going into today’s singles, the Vice-Captain’s team were leading 6½ - 2½. Twenty pairs went out playing Matchplay. It was obvious looking around the course that a great deal of concentration was being exercised. The Captain’s side started brilliantly winning the first 3 matches. They finished well winning the final 5 matches, but the Captain’s middle order were losing steadily, until Robin Flower on the Vice Captains team, came in with that Christy O’Connor moment  -  the all important 15th point.

The results were as follows :

4BBB 6½ - 2½

Macomish beat Skeels 4/3

Hall beat Stephens 3/1

Pope beat Marsh 3/1

Singleton lost to Gudge 3/1

Williams lost to Oliver 5/4
