4-man scramble for the brave!

Following the cancellation of round one of the Cyder Cup due
to a continuing downpour, 16 brave soles decided on playing a four man scramble
over nine holes!
After much ado about the handicap allowance, the winners
were Bob Barrow, Mike Mosser, Ian Fielder and Keith Branchflower who took a
narrow lead over the hot favourites Roger Stone, Barrie Heath, Norman Markby
and John Pearce.
With only four teams, the winners swept the pot with £16 to
share. Two ‘2’ were recorded, one each to the first two teams, taking £4 each.
Hopefully the weather will improve for the Cyder Cup to get
underway with the drawn 4BBB on Wednesday.
