Lyndsey and co bask in the sunshine
Bowmaker 23 September

Firstly the sad announcement of the passing of Dave Bond, a popular Seniors Member who has not been around for a while but finally succumbed to Motor Neurone Disease.

Quite a change in the weather as 11 teams competed in warm sunshine in today’s Bowmaker.

Taking the honours (and cash) was Alan Teasdale, Des Denning and Lyndsey Gage with a score of 75 – two points clear of the second team of Ted Bryden, Brian Anderson and Alan Davis. In their winning round Lyndsey only failed to get on the card on two holes and scored 37 points on just 16 holes - that, despite getting a nasty Wasp sting on the 15th, I wonder what attracted it ?

Third place, only one point behind, was Richard Forster, Bob White and Robin Flower.
Farmer Bob played in the Rolling Stableford, scoring 30 points and 1 Birdie.

Four birdies were recorded by:-
B. Skeels/R. Gudge/M. King
C. Denman/P. Hunt/R. Stone
R. Hall/ C. Basterfield/B. Hodder
R. Foster/R. Flower/R. White.

 Prizes:

Alan Teasdale, Des Denning and Lyndsey Gage (75) - £15 plus a two-shot cut
