Texas Scramble 17th July 2015
I am indebted to our Treasurer, Keith Branchflower, for collating the results of the rollup on Friday as I had to leave on a domestic matter soon after the draw was made.
We welcomed another new member, Harry Kale, who has joined us having previously played at Surbiton. Harry has a handicap of 21.
There
were 33 players in teams of three playing a three man Texas Scramble
and no scores were higher than 6. Two two’s were scored.
I do not have a complete list of those who played but the money winners are as follows :

The usual domestic handicap reductions apply, 2 shots to the winners and 1 shot to the runners up. Alan Jones will be pleased to note that his team were placed in the much sought after 3rd place, i.e. winning cash but no handicap reduction.
Monday’s rollup is a drawn Medal played off yellow tees. At
the risk of repeating myself, late comers may be inserted in the draw
if there is a gap. Otherwise, they will have to play at the end.
