Gentleman

Thank you for your support in signing up for the Christmas Cracker with the Ladies. We are looking for donations for the raffle being run by Jim Lauchlan for this particular event. They can be brought in on Friday or on the morning of the event.

On a “Roll-up” note. We have managed to get the pro shop to agree that when there are excellent turnouts, as it was today, we can send groups over to the 16th thus alleviating the long wait on the first tee.

Obviously, if other members that have been out on the course appear, they must be allowed to play through.

Thank you also to the guys who purchase tea/coffee in the mornings, it supports us when we approach Alex for concessions.

Andy

Well done to Andy (& Alex)  for getting back the '16th Start" - but let's not screw it up again by bad manners or etiquette.

Everyone wins when we start on 16th as, if last 3 groups go over there on busy days, they are playing 3 holes instead of getting cold on 1st.

Then after playing the 15th, a 'cork' is pulled from the bottleneck  as these groups walk in and free up a 25 Minute gap behind.

Not everyone loves the Seniors, so be sensitive when on 16th, especially these days as often  buggies have to turn right after the 8th if only the Top 11 are open to them. If you let a group through, or a single Player - they will probably be nervous and not play their best tee-shot. We may all be half-deaf at our age - but others are not and will hear every snide comment - so just don't make them.

Thank You
