SENIORS CAPTAIN’S AWAY DAY

at CHINA FLEET Thursday 6th July

Due to a lack of take up for transport by coach, (20 signed up to date), 

I’ve decided to cancel the coach.

£425 (50% deposit) was required this week to confirm booking and I wasn’t willing for our Charity or the Seniors Section to foot the bill if you couldn’t get at least 42 takers to break even.

All who have paid their £20 will get reimbursed by Keith Branchflower. If the coach was prerequisite to playing at China Fleet, I fully understand if you wish to drop out, again all monies will be paid back.

The day is still going ahead and we will have to make sure there are plenty of people pairing up to spread the cost of travel.

Another Match  of Summer KO took place today as Roger & James tangled  with the serial winners Evans & Chance.

We passed them on the 12th, where  abiding heiress majors  (anag) had a healthy lead but it shrank gradually over the next few holes.  In the end, however abiding heiress majors  ran out winners.
