JW tries to convince Danny his ball was originally 8 feet away before being struck by Rogers. In fact Danny was about 18 Inches away when Roger's edged it and almost went into the hole.

We were ahead of Danny and he drove 2nd with 10 footer for a 2, missed  ; Drove  6th with 6 footer for a two ( missed). Drove 8th (Par 3) and made the 2; Drove 12th with 5 Footer for a two ( missed)  - but he made sure of his 2 on 16th.   Danny chipped onto 17th, bounced up and brushed the flag and landed nearby, but missed the birdie.

Paul England was star of his due, kept Chris B quiet for 8 of the 9 holes on the front, scoring 21 on his own.

Even better that Trotty, who helped Frankie on the 4th - Frank stuffed 2 consecutive balls OOB - as Ken calmly strode up to make a 4 for 4 Points on our toughest hole...

Sad to hear of the passing of Des, a member for many years and a very handy golfer. We have not seen him for 4 or 5 years, but have had regular updates from those that know him better,

Just 1 Month after England won the World Cup, Desmond and Celia were walking down the Aisle.

Condolences to Celia, Married for 56 Years and Family, , Andrew, Nicole, Chris, Tracey and grandson Oliver.
