They won it all... and in Richard's own words....

Agar isn't really horrible but he did have a great team what with Ken who kept Trotting them

onto the greens and Andy who Rowled in some excellent approaches

#and Derek  who did some Gardening on most fairways.
Just good teamwork.

Editorial comment :-

Don't give up the day-job Richard, hope you manage to get the new Home you are after

and all goes well with the whole experience.

Quite remarkable we didn’t get wet and John Pearce managed to walk all 18 holes

and occasionally played some good shots!

A disappointing low turnout for our first roll up by another name.

Probably yesterday’s rain and a poor forecast put some of you off.

As it turned out the course was in pretty good order and it certainly suited the

winning team, who also cleaned up with the only 2 of the day.

The low number made the three draws 07.45 08.15 & 08.45 very easy and

this test worked well.

Unfortunately the bar was not open until 9am but we are trying to

resolve this.

Wednesday is a Texas Scramble always a favourite and the weather

looks much better so please don’t all turn up at 8.45 we need to utilise

the early tee times.

Please note the Summer Knockout Singles and Pairs Entry Lists have moved

to the Seniors Notice Board in the changing room.  Hopefully

the numbers will swell, closing date 31 May.

Three Friendly Matches have been confirmed

Captain Covid

Please read the 'Internal Comps Page' and consider entering the ever-popular

Summer Knockout Matchplay Comps. One as Singles and another in Pairs.

They are displayed in the Locker-Room or let James know and he will add you to the list.

It's a great format and no real excuse for Every Senior not to enter +

and try your hand, believe me the 'Superstars ' do not relish playing us

higher-handicappers and  anyone can win on the day.

James Siabi is organising, but please try and give him at least 32 Teams / Players

to enable a draw to be made out through to the Finals. The first couple of rounds will

probably be organised as a roll-up, then you can chose any day that suits the play

subsequent rounds.

Dave Mugridge giving 30 shots to Richard Agar always produces a few good stories....

Despite crunchy-knees, Roger had a very strong back -9

Captain off to strong start after Birdie on 1st hole...

Martin Dew, Roger & Captain stride down 4th...

All Bunkers GUR and no Buggies affected the Roll-Up numbers

Don't be fooled  those black Clouds were all around us

We'll do it all again on Wednesday
with dry weather and increasing temperatures
 for a Texas Scramble.
Numbers expected to be much higher
and even Bim Morfitt is threatening to join us
after being in virtual hibernation for an
eternity.

In the current situation, we have agreed with Lisa to re-commence our regular  "Up-roll".

There will be 3 draw times, 0745 (for the Earlies),

This will be for Tee-Time 08:10 onwards.

We hope Sports bar will be open ( Service starts 08:30) - otherwise it will be Locker Room but you must

Register with Earlies Organiser  on arrival to be included in the Draw.

You will need a mask to enter the building, but draw will be passed to Pro Shop to deduct entry fee.

Please don't linger so that subsequent Draws will have less crowded experience.

2nd Draw will be Vice-Captain at 08:15  - to mop up residue of early slots,

then build from our 09:06 allocation.

3rd  Draw will be Captain at 08:45 - for later arrivals and

breakfast eaters - where we have slots right up to 10:26.

The 3 draws are being made to minimise the number sitting around at one time (COVID rules).

No money will change hands. It will be taken from your club account.

The start sheet will be given to the pro-shop for COVID records and to take monies from your account.

If you have a mind to turn up and be 'grumpy' then you are respectfully asked to take a hike

around the car park.

This is unknown territory for all of us and the Captain & his team have

negotiated hard to try and restore the normality of Roll-Up

and are grateful to Lisa and her Team for working with us.

You must play in your chosen Team or be excluded from the Draw,

no silly games please and we are sorry if your time at the Club is longer than it has been over the past Year

with a booked Tee-Time.

For our newer Members, that have never experienced the Roll-Up' System...

then first of all 'Welcome to you all '.

The Seniors Roll-Up every Mon, Wed & Friday at 07:50 if you are and early bird by nature,

..or at 08:45 for the larger group.

No need for any bookings , we just deal with the numbers on the Day.

We sit around and chat and look forward to playing with different people at each Draw.

It is the essence of our group and builds friendships that will last ..probably for a life-time

in our Section.  We are very active Socially and involve Wives & Partners whenever we can

and of course are very keen on Charity Fund-Raising.

You should have been given a 'Seniors Card' by our Treasurer on paying your £3.00 Fee - which

shows you our Year and events where you can win 'Silverware' . The Roll-Up formats are

controlled in the Golfing Program Page -

so you can see what we are playing at each Roll-Up, gives you time to talk to Chris Gingell

to learn how to mark a Card for some of the stranger formats. We know there are many

ways to skin a cat, but knowing what details are essential on the Card for the Adjudicator

can save you a lot of heartache...we've all been there.

Friday 21st May 2021

The forecast storms kept away most Golfers, but impressed to see 3 groups of Eggs out Early..and probably got the worst of it.

Seniors had 11 booked with Derek requesting to join us, but with the buggy-ban we also lost a couple more. Confusion was added to as JKP, Mark, Ian F, Billy etc  gathered at the Pro Shop, unable to access 19th as Sports Bar door was locked..not knowing that Ian, Roger, Richard etc had entered via the big stairs and were waiting for us upstairs. ..Pro Shop had said it wasn't open until 09:00 so we just stayed downstairs.

Re-shuffled groups and decided to go for a 3-ball Scramble due to the weather and the sheet below was handed to the Pro Shop for entry, but no Money taken and Official Comp cancelled.

All eventually sorted into groups and off we went, ahead of booked time as last group teed-off

around 09:15 as the forecast was for it to get worse.

A Steroid-Fueled  JKP had to later apologise to Dave Taylor for his less than courteous behavior towards him.. for which there is no excuse. As JKP  approached the Tee, Dave had ( innocently) asked why he had been put from first to last, why his group had changed, who was organising this and several other poignant questions.  Unfortunately JKP let him have both barrels , accusing him of being a moaning ba****d and several other undesirable character traits...for which he now apologises unreservedly. Sorry Dave - must be the Medication.

So Dickie, Mark S & Ian  F set off first, but the threesome only managed 4 holes as Mark had tweaked his back and had to retire. Ian & Dickie boldly  continued over the road and played the 1st 10 Holes in sequence..until  around 11:00 when it got more of a persisitent drizzle..added to the lack of anyone following them , finally gave up.

JKP, Eric & Billy had a great crack and just played the Top 9, cutting over to 16th which Eric turned into a one-man show and made Par by himself without any help from the other 2.

JKP thanked the other 2 for curtailing the round as Wife Diana had only given permission to play if JKP took a Buggy, which was obviously not allowed.  Most Mr Pearce had walked to date was 9000 steps and just doing the 9 holes amounted to 8500, which was probably plenty.

The 4-Ball, Dave, Mike,  Ian & Richard turned right on 16th..but as mentioned above, Hone Alone strode through the full 18.

" try and hit Pearcey on the head for me will you ?"

Back in the Clubhouse, as Richard Agar  fought with Penny over how many beans you get with a full-English - Dickie started his Monthly Raffle for another Captain's Super-Draw. £1 a ticket but 2 extra for each £5 so a crispy tenner gets you 14 Tickets...they will be available at every roll-up. Dickie would appreciate cash this time as the last raffle ( that raised an amazing £900 ) - was rather tricky to administer.

Who won ? ..nobody knows but making Par on every hole, probably gave Ian Housham the moral high-ground.

Penny & Co have a really good system up in the Clubhouse, with full Table-Service and everyone asked to remain seated, with no mixing. Hand-Sanitiser at every entrance and Masks until you are seated...the Club have it all well managed.

CAPTAIN’S REPORT MONTHLY STABLEFORD 19 MAY 2021

The scores are slightly lower than in recent comps, is this the

WHS starting to influence matters or just tough conditions?

Well done to all the winners and those few that managed

birdies.

Don’t forget Friday is a small event at CST with most away

at Came Down.   Monday is our first Modified Arranged

Competition with ENROLLMENT upstairs at 7.45- 8.15 - 8.45

please try and spread yourselves evenly through the

times and when your name is drawn make your way to

the changing rooms or practice area.  We must not

Congregate upstairs.    This is a trial so please behave within

the Covid rules.    It is a 2 from 4 Discard.

   CAPTAIN'S REPORT FRIENDLY V. WHEATHILL 18 MAY 2021

Firstly thank you to the players who stepped in at the last minute to

cover withdrawals.   As we started to arrive the main topic of conversation

was inevitably the weather.   Barring a mid round persistent spell, where

the greens were getting flooded, we avoided the thunder & lighting and

watched several very nasty clouds skirt the course.

Our visitors were thoroughly impressed by the condition and overall quality of the course, despite the greenkeepers deciding to scarify

the fairways.

The catering was also excellent with a Bacon Roll on arrival

and a very nice and substantial Chicken Pie, Chips and Peas followed by Coffee.

It bodes well for the catering standards under our two new Chefs.

The match was very closely contested and thankfully I can report a victory,

with us winning by 4 matches to 2.   In most pairings we were giving a

substantial number of shots, which is never easy in betterball matchplay.

Asking around, everybody seemed to thoroughly enjoy the day, we have many matches starting in early June, so please add your names to the match

sheets when they appear on the notice board.

 Please remember these are

friendlies, there is a 28 handicap cap but other than that it is open to all

standards of golfers.   These matches are competitive but fun, if in doubt just

ask anybody who has played before.

Mark Cording & Roger Davis           Won  5&4

Barrie Heath & James Siabi.            Lost 1 Down

Neil Cochran & Bob Dennett.           Won  5&3

Roger Stone & Bob Barrow.             Lost 1 Down

Chris Gingell & Derek Gardner        Won 2&1

Dave Mugridge & Keith Hunt.          Won 2 Up

Roger Mills, Wheathill's Captain was nearest the pin on the 9th

and Chris Gingell got the spoils on the 16th, but kindly donated

the prize to our next raffle for charity.

Well done to Keith Hunt in his first Seniors Friendly, he was seen out on the practice range on Monday and admitted to being a little nervous..but I have a feeling we'll be seeing him regularly in the future..

See you all tomorrow.

After a few savage rolls of thunder, the Club was quick to clear the Course.

Congratulations to Ian Hildred, Peter Spencer-Farr and Richard Agar for winning
their respective divisions and all those who had birdies.

It looked like most enjoyed being back in the sports bar, imagine the scene if we
were still outside when the hail and thunderstorms hit.

Please note the Brean Friendly on the 25th May is cancelled, thank you to all who had
their names down. I am contacting the various opposition to ensure all the June
Matches are going ahead and will post team sheets on the notice board asap.

Semi-Final Lockdown Weekend

Wow ! - that was close...just as we thought it was a 'slam-dunk' for lockdown to ease on Monday, the Indian Scare came so close to wrecking it all..but the threat remains for a curtailment of the June 21st changes.

Why can they not get a handle on a Country Like India, which we have watched on TV for a Months sinking into disaster - and devise an 'Amber' system ahead of a Red One where anyone coming back before is forced into a closely monitored system. Over 20,000 returned to multi-occupancy households before the Red warning and were pretty much free to do as they pleased. The Indian Community are very hard working and most will have gone back to work the very next day ..and hey presto graph heads upwards.

that the cards were perfect. WELL DONE EVERYONE.

formats, the scores were excellent. Congratulations to Peter Spencer-Farr and Richard Agar
for the top score of 44 points. That's another couple of stamps on Peter's Free Tribute card.

Summer Knockouts

James , however, is looking to the future and organising those Summer Knockouts, which always produce some shock 'Matchplay' moments as the consistent low-handicappers tackle the rest of us that all seem to be heading upwards on a daily basis.

Please post the notice below on the blog. I will print the entry forms and put them up on Monday

Hi everyone

Two entry lists for the seniors summer knockout singles & pairs competitions will be pinned outside the Pro shop or in the changing room if it is open. Please put your name down for the singles and yourself and a playing partner for the pairs.

Everyone should Enter, Matchplay is a great leveler and we are fortunate to play the only sport in the World where the most blessed have to compete against the most stressed...

We are hoping to run the two competitions from next month. In order not to put pressure on people to play their matches on certain days, We shall be flexible on the days the matches are to be played by allowing  each person / team to arrange their own games after the draw has been made.

Regards

James  IPC

Sir Clive asked that we post the below:-

The following was from the American “Need to Know” web site.

I’m sure This will cheer Ron up.

One thing we love: Hearing the sound of the ice cream truck coming down the street. Still gets us even in our advanced age.

SENIORS SUBSCRIPTIONS

The £3.00 subscriptions are due from last November. Last Mondays match saw 3 members win money who had not paid their subs. On this occasion I have deducted them from their winnings. In future I will return to the Rule that members can play and pay their entry but will not win any money unless they are paid up members of the Senior section.

There is a list of members on this blog with their status shown. Please check.

Payment can be placed in an envelope and left in the Proshop for me to collect,or given to a Committee member.

 Many thanks

Keith Branchflower (In charge of money)

Norman has updated Challenge Cup Start List for Friday at Came Down....but he still can't spell Dorchester....

Thursday 13th May - Lots of Updates

From Matt in the Pro Shop.

There has been a bit of confusion recently about taking flags out of the hole. Following a guidance update from England Golf today, you are still not allowed to touch or remove the flag stick under the current Covid guidelines. However, a playing partner can support the flag upright with a club if it is leaning and is disturbing the ball entering the hole. Please note, wearing a glove or holding a towel to touch the flag is NOT allowed. We do understand that this is inconvenient, but this decision is out of our hands. We will keep you updated when guidelines change regarding Covid related restrictions.

How clever is that from Matt  "but this decision is out of our hands. "....surely you see the irony...

Report to follow on Canadian Greensomes but this is a special message

regarding recent events.

As a section we have always relied on trust and many of our events rely on teams

 entering their own cards.

The unfortunate set of circumstances on Monday involved a team on their own

and an irregularity with another teams score.

I want to make this very clear that at no stage was the integrity

of any member of our section brought into question.

If my earlier blog message was ambiguous I apologise.

John W and I will continue to attempt to accept late entries to fill in gaps

and/or late withdrawals.

MONDAY 17TH MAY  - Lockdown further eased

We have agreed with Lisa that our roll ups will recommence on Monday 24th May.

So this Monday 17TH will be an on-line sign up and is now live.

The main club house will be open for drinks and the changing rooms open

 but no showers.

Sorry this report is delayed but we have received several complaints and certain points required clarification.

Given the blustery conditions several good scores were recorded.  Congratulations go to David Taylor and Richard Holmes winners with 45 points.  Now here is complaint one, they were both on a reserve list and were added after the competition was closed on-line.  We have done this many times as the draw is often made many days before the event.  This was to enable us to hand back unwanted tee times to the Club.  This time there was an odd number so they played at the end of the field.   We endeavour to meet as many late changes as possible and may I point out that this is not always easy and involves a great deal of time, given generously by a few.  As a section we have always trusted all competitors to enter the correct score and that premise underpins our comps as it does the game of golf itself.  In this instance the last pair won the comp and recorded the only 2 of the day.  Therefore their winnings were a reasonable sum of money.   Whether that is why members are querying our protocol is open to debate.

Problem number two was a missing card, which transpired had been given to Matt to enter on the computer.   This was a winning team's card and there was a one shot difference between their card total and that of the computer.   This is where the check card of the other pair in the 4 Ball should have highlighted the problem.  Unfortunately the check card did not differentiate between the two players scores on each hole.  So we have had no method of checking that the correct handicap allowance for each player was correctly used on each hole.   A decision has been made to uphold the scores as claimed but this should not have been necessary.

IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF EACH INDIVIDUAL IN SINGLES OR THE TEAM IN MULTI-PLAYER EVENTS TO ENSURE THAT BOTH THEIR OWN CARD AND A CHECK CARD IS CORRECTLY FILLED IN AND PLACED IN THE BOX.

Under Covid restrictions they do not need to be countersigned but you must study the check card, ensure it is fully filled in and correct, thus verifying your score.

IF THIS IS NOT THE CASE THE WINNING CARD WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.

The computer is not the be all and end all, far from it, merely recording what scores are typed in and errors can occur.    When entering scores THE PERSON WHO FILLED IN THE CHECK CARD MUST BE PRESENT AND VERIFY THE SCORES BEING ENTERED.   Thus if a discrepancy appears it can be made good and the cards or computer score adjusted.

Wow ! - Not a single death from Covid in England Today - amazing.

Just listened to latest Gov update and the most dangerous group now are the 18-to 40 Year-Olds.

So you can safely Hug a Senior...but stick out a Flipper if they ask "Who's the Yorkshire Ripper" ?

Following some members questions and the gradual increase in most of the sections handicaps we have made a very slight adjustment to the 3 divisions for individual comps.  I have also listed below how the prize money is allocated.

Seniors Competition Prize Monies Distribution No of Entrants Payout Breakdown

1 to 6 Winner only 100%

7 to 12 1st 60%. 2nd 40%

Divisions 2021

We will review the divisions occasionally trying to ensure roughly equal numbers in every grouping.

Seniors Monthly Medal Friday 7th May

Apart from a few great scores, the course looks  like it defended itself quite well.
A couple of tricky pin positions and slick greens certainly tested your resolve.
As normal the white tees were right back and a true test of our tee shots.

Congratulations to the winners but as a foot note please ensure your cards

are verified and then placed in the box.

Jeremy did not leave his card but we have been lenient as still under Covid Rules.

But Chris Gingell needs your cards to scrutinise the results.

Could you please put on the blog a message asking players not to enter NS in the computer when entering scores.

NS does not stand for No Score it stands for No Start as in did not play the hole.

Please use either NR (no result) or just leave blank.

Putting in NS will muck up your handicap.

Cheers Chris

"

Am I the only one who thinks the Programmers did not have their finest day when setting up the score entry system, really ! - I wonder who told them that Players sometimes don't start a hole, maybe they don't fancy it and just elect to move onto the next hole...."

Sad News

..and better news from Jim Mac, who played with Peter 3-names last week and the following day was Hospitalised and having stents fitted. We were sworn to secrecy as Jim wanted to see what the Consulants came up with before he was flooded with Flowers & Whisky...

Morning John
Jim Mac here getting home later today. No work or driving for 4 weeks. Heart scan in 4 weeks to check progress. Otherwise feel OK tired and slow but hopefully will get better as time moves on. No golf for about 6 to 8 weeks but at least I have had two jabs and three Covid tests all clear.😄😂 Musgrove Park CCU absolutely heroes and brilliant at looking after everyone in over Bank Holiday weekend.  Take care and stay safe Jim Mac

SENIORS CAPTAIN'S CHARITY DAY STABLEFORD

Well the weather was not conducive to a fun fund raising day, but it actually could have been far worse.    55 players took part and given the 40 MPH winds gusting to far more than that, the scores were very reasonable.    I have just collected the nearest the pin sheets, rounded up from 3 counties, but unfortunately one was never found.    The missing one is the 13th, but when my group went through there was not a ball on the green, so I have to assume this was a blank.

Well done to all the nearest the pin winners.

  2ND   MALCOLM ROY

                                                                          8TH   MARTIN LEIGH

                                                                          9TH   STUART POPE

                                                                          11TH DAVE MUGRIDGE

                                                                          13TH NOT WON

                                                                          16TH KEN TROTT

As for the main competition well done JAMES PARKHOUSE & ANDY ROWLAND the joint winners of the Seniors with 40 points each.

NEIL MANSEY winning the Main Section prize with 38 points.

The hidden prizes were for the worst cumulative medal score on the easiest 3 stroke index holes, the 17th; 5th and 11th and the prize goes to BILL HILSON.

The other prize for best points total score on the hardest stroke index holes, 3rd; 10th & 6th goes to Dave Mugridge with 9 points.

This combined with his nearest the pin and winning the raffle meant a successful day.

Once again thank you all for entering the comp; your prize donations and purchase of raffle/ tombola numbers.

Friday results for Scramble & Somerset Bowl follow this Charity Notice.....

I have several announcements for the blog and the newspapers.
 ....

Captains Charity Day Monday 3rd May

The Main Club and The Eggs have kindly agreed to support my Charity Day on this Bank Holiday Monday.

They have cancelled their competitions in favour of our event.    This will bring in very valuable extra funds to the charity.     Thanks to the generosity of our sections membership we can provide prizes for Seniors, Ladies and Main Section, so this in no way dilutes the prizes for the Seniors.

The weather does not look stunning but it avoids the need for expensive sun tan products, so please make every effort to turn up.

Dickie and I have yet to tally the raffle entry proceeds but it really does look like everyone has been so generous.   I cannot mention everybody by name who has given prizes because they are too numerous but you know who you are and thank you very much.    I will publish the total funds raised on the blog late on Monday if still awake!

John Wandless is publishing the draw tonight and please ensure you put your individual cards in the main club box not the seniors box.

The draw for the Super Raffle is estimated to be made between 2 and 3 O’Clock, it would be great if people wait for this, but if the weather is inclement, I will publish the winners and their numbers later in the day.     Owing to COVID the prizes will be not be distributed on the day.

Once again, thank you everyone and have a good weekend.

You can purchase 5 Numbers for £5, 12 numbers for £10 and 30 for £20! All members are welcome to enter the raffle and entry can be done via the proshop.  Please ensure you money is put in an envelope with your name and the amount on the front.

The top prize is a day out for two at the Cricket! Donated kindly by Somerset County Cricket Club to watch a County Championship Match. 2nd prize is a professional bouquet of flowers. Champagne, Brandy, Vodka, Belgian Truffles and lots of Wine to make up the rest!

The Seniors Charity Stableford will be open to ALL Members, so we have made the decision to cancel the bank holiday Bogey competition to support this charity event. Please note, all prize money will go to S.U.R.E. S.U.R.E is an independent local charity which supports the NHS in Taunton, so that local people across Somerset can have the best access possible with to diagnosis and treatment.

SOMERSET SENIOR BOWL FOURSOMES 1ST ROUND 30.04.21

The course was truly used today with our Texas Scramble followed by two societies and our first round match in the SSB.    I totally agree with Danny Dowell’s comments today that we should thank Dave and his team on the presentation of the course.   The greens were particularly excellent, which recent away events have proven is not the norm after the lockdown.

The SSB is a knockout foursomes event with five pairs from each drawn club.    Normally each round is played on a neutral venue but under COVID restrictions it was decided to be on home and away courses.

The team was selected by myself and Dave Mugridge with much heartache and debate.    The result appears to justify our decision but this does not exclude additions and changes to the team for the next round.    We are trying to select the team on current form or aptitude for the foursomes format.   Unfortunately Roger Stone was a late withdrawal, owing to a need for an emergency plumber, his place was manfully filled at very late notice by Chris Gingell.

                                                      RESULTS

MARK CORDING & STEVE SOUTHGATE.    WON.  6 & 5

DAVE MUGRIDGE & JOHN TWOSE.             WON.  2 & 1

DANNY DOWELL & GORDON BRENT.         WON.  2 & 1

JOHN WANDLESS & MARTIN HARTLEY.     WON  3 & 2

ROGER HINDS & CHRIS GINGELL.                WON  4 & 3

OVERALL RESULT 5 - 0 WELL DONE TO ALL WHO PLAYED

I am unsure of our next opponents but will keep you all informed.

Captain writes :-
Well some excellent golf was played today.

The course is looking good, with the fairways

running and the rough is still down.

Notably Jeremy Blackburn had 3 two’s on the first 3 par 3’s.    Obviously this helped him and Mike Dawson

amass the winning 46 points.   Messrs. Heath

and Markby had a hot day on the greens and missed

out by one shot.   Maurice and Keith coming a close

third on count back.

St George’s Day Bash

Nice to be putting on good greens that were fast and true.   The numbers unfortunately didn't quite balance so Ken Trott played on his own, but still managed a two, so well done.     Apparently went out in 24 points but must have tired on back nine.

Congratulations to Messrs. Hunt and Hone, sounds like a manufacturer of expensive grooming products, they amassed a very good 44 points.

Challenge Cup Round 2 - Dainton Park- Thurs 22nd April 2021

Dainton Park was the venue for the second round of the Challenge Cup and after leaving Chard in glorious sunshine it was a bit of a shock to find total cloud cover and a biting easterly wind at this lovely venue.. The conditions sent many folk to their cars to find extra clothing which they hoped was lying in the far corners of their car or golf bag.

Another stand out performance from Ian Thomas saw him top the leader board with 43 points and place him squarely in the sights of our handicap secretary (isn't a handicap cut what we are all aiming at he said)

Bacon rolls and coffee on the terrace with plenty of tables for social distancing started the day. and at the finish the pack chasing Ian was headed by our Captain Mark and James Siabi both on 36 points.

Nearest the pins were won by the consistent Dave Mugridge, Roger Stone and Jeremy Blackburn. And now a moan, It was unfortunate that two members on the start list failed to turn up or to notify the organiser, this puts extra time and effort on him which he could do without so please if you can't make it phone him.

More Pictures in Challenge Cup Page, thanks for all the submissions, Stu, Ed, James, Norm etc

We now look forward to the 3rd and final round which is at Came Down on the 21st May after which plans are almost complete for the final which is being organised by Mike light at St Pierre near Chepstow .
