Individual Medalford

Another nice day of golf with 33 seniors participating in today’s Medalford competition. Results although not as good as the recent trend for this format, none the less good set of scores with plentiful of birdies (11 in total). Highlight of the day was the Captain’s arrival just after his playing partners had teed off with golfer waiting on the tee shouting to inform Danny Dowell and Martin Leigh that I had arrived only to put off Danny who mess up his 2nd shot in between the trees on the left. Having mixed up my Wednesday’s tee time with Monday’s, I did arrive late but no need for 3 individuals stitching me up by telling Danny that I am always late (LOL).

As usual there were quite a number of cards that were marked badly. It seems that people not paying enough attention. I think it is about time that they either learn how to score properly or pay more attention when filling the card. If this was a qualifying competition, a lot more would have been DQ’d. Luckily those cards were not in the top 4 positions. Two out of three DQ’d cards scored Medal F9 & Stableford on the B9. I would have remarked had they put scores for a couple of holes on the back 9 instead of no score for the holes. Today’s scores are as follows:
