Great that so many of you were back on the Course, you'll have to let us know how you got on and what the atmosphere is like.
Thanks to Neil for sending that great picture of Mark Saunders on the 1st tee. I just wondered why, after the ball is already on its way, his clubface is still open ?- or is it an optical illusion... more Pics please as I probably won't bother until Monday as I finish off some tasks.

Thanks for the nice comments the Blog Team have had about keeping the Blog going, but it's all the contributors that sent us something every day that made it possible.

Evening John,

Just wanted to say a big thank you for keeping us entertained and up to date through the lockdown and golf course closure.  It has kept me informed and had a good laugh. Hope everyone remains sensible and follows rules and we will be back to normal as soon as it is safe.  I am still shielding (letter from Gov and NHS) until June 6th at least unless it goes away before then.  Got lots to do working from home (part time) and jobs around the garden.  Regards to everyone.

Jim Mac

So for those of you that are still shielding, here's a couple of Pics that came in Yesterday showing the effects of the opening up in other business areas....

..looks like one of Bob White's jobs..AFTER he has built it !

Thank you for all those contributions to the Blog for the past 51 Days, not sure how to play this from now on so will await guidance from the Captain / Committee.

Remember you are limited to 2 games a week and CST is not an over-busy course, so we feel things will steady down after a short time.

Let's just tiday up dave's Trivia...

Austria’s flag – red with a horizontal white stripe – commemorates Duke Leopold V, the Country’s ruler from 1177 to 1194, who after a violent day on the battlefield took off his belt and revealed a clean section across his blood-spattered tunic.

and of course a reminder about Face Masks and the importance of being able to improvise at short notice.

We hope the Blog has helped you cope with the long separation, but playing 2 balls will come a long way short of what we all crave, the full Camaraderie & Competition that is the Seniors Section.
