Trying a new Blogger

Google are introducing changes to the Blog, so let us know if anything seems different. supposed to work better on phones.

Not much news coming from you Golfers, so have to improvise. Captain working hard at getting organised and will start his VPar trials next weeks with Comps running Mon,Wed,Friday - so let him know your Tee-Times if you want to play.
Hopefully this will not last forever, but needs must !

Nice message from Bertie, which I will share with you.

Hi John,
Good luck with the new scheme devised by James.
Unfortunately, as you know, I am not into smart phones.
I understand it seems a good idea, but not for me.
I am no longer competitive anyway, so Goodbye seniors.

Regards  Bert
(Ex Seniors Captain and a stalwart for many years.)

So, Track & Trace starts today, maybe nearby Weston Hospital would be a good place to start !
Just wanted to ask all Seniors to take this really seriously.  From 09:00 you could get a phone call identifying you as having been in contact with an infected person.
A call you could easily ignore, but just think of the implications for a moment.

Most of the people you would then associate with over the next 2 weeks would be in the 'Risky' Category and may not survive if you infected them.  It could also result in the immediate closure of the Golf Club, pending investigation.

We don't know if it's going to work, but some of our members have not left home since March 23rd - that's 66 Days - please don't squander all their efforts and sacrifices.

OK, back to the real World !

I'm resisting posting too much stuff about Mr Cummings, as whatever views people have - they seem intransigent whatever happens, but I will post just one from TC, but  we have had many submitted !

The feature Video is from Vulnerable Vic - still locked up at home in Stoke Sub-Hambdon - why not say hello on  "gane.victor@gmail.com"

He thought you could all do with a little Culture !

Have you ever visited ham Hill Country Park, near Victor ?
Great for a long walk and very Dog friendly. Visit the old Quarry and spectacular views, or take the long trail, through the woods. Just a pity the Pub is not open !
490 Acres to enjoy...and it's all free.
