It all changes from Monday
Hi Seniors
I
spoke to Alex yesterday and was nudging him towards the Seniors
rollup block. He promised that we will soon be getting our block back but
initially at a reduced slot. I am hopeful that it will be within the next 2
weeks.
Social
distancing will be in place and no gathering at the golf course. So once I we
get the go ahead I will be asking seniors to inform me of their intentions
as regards to playing or not and then arranging the teams the night before the
events.
This is the sort of shock this may cause !!!
Anyway, let's have some fun for today.
Brilliant from PSF -
..and Mike
But Edmundo gives us the smile for the Day..
Amazed we didn't get any complaints from you about the Anagram Quiz when I slipped a couple of extra bits in there....
Hope nobody is out there watering the Lawn today as it is now banned - but grass will always recover from anything, just look at the Golf Course.
Captain collates first Comp for Monday, but will it all change as 2 balls intermixed with 3 & 4-balls - await Captains call over the weekend.
did you get Alex's latest directive ?
I'll forward his Email by request
Bunkers back in play, unless marked otherwise.
At the moment, the booking system looks a little strange, so can only assume they are working on updates , but with slots going down to 8 minutes and possibility of following a 4-ball , could be fun out there !
I was out playing with one of our newer members, David Potter who many of you will know from Taunton & Pickerage, where he was seniors captain when Alan Davis was our leader, and also a regular at out Seniors Opens.
..but no sooner had he joined, in March - when we shut-down. He is also a member at Long Sutton, Oake Manor and Minehead I believe.
The Captain has instructed me to publish the Monday Comp start list, so one has to obey the last command as we are taught in the Armed Services...
Here we go. First trial of
VPAR enabled competition for purely
bragging rights as no money is involved for the time being.
Monday 1st June
start sheet. Players marked in yellow can’t have VPAR scores as they have not
signed up to VPAR.

One person in each team
will be scoring. It is suggested that the other player fills a card to verify
the VPAR score for correctness.
I hope more people sign up
for the future events so that we have electronic score of all players.
James has us 'simple instructions' for Vpar on your phone...

More submissions on Dominic Cummins , which I have ignored - but instead lets have a couple of nautical themes, first one is AAAAARGH !...
but the second is definitely AHHHHHH...
Momentum, Centre of Gravity and decision making....
