Monthly Stableford Qualifier
2 Ball Scramble
Pro- Shop UpdateHi Guys,
Would it be possible for you to put something on the blog to say that there is no Senior Coaching today, sorry for the inconvenience, Roy is ill.
Kind Regards,
Mark Atkin | Golf & Pro Shop Manager | Cricket St Thomas Golf Club Limited
Several respectable scores were returned, namely Mark Sanders with 38 Points. Under the Rules of Golf, only a certain number of 'Wrong Greens' are allowed before a round of Golf becomes ineligible to count as a Qualifier..not to mention all the bunkers being GUR.
This format was chosen to allow those arriving for their booked T-Time to join the Roll up and form new groupings.
Results were as follows:
Dave Mugridge & John Pearce 60.75 £6.00
Mark Cording & Martin Bargery 63.50 £5.00
Andy Rowland & Chris Hiam 63.75 £3.00
Stuart Pope & Chris Ruddling 64.00 £2.00
Dave Mugridge & John Pearce ( Eagle on 17th) 1 £2.00
Frank Martin & John Wandless 1 £2.00
Richard Holmes & Martin Hartley 1 £2.00
Keith Branchflower & Roger

10th Hole was an experience as JKP was tempted to use putter on his 2nd shot..just 20 yards short of Temp Green...Dave hit some impressive shots as he 'had a bit of a play'. |
Amazingly they finished in the money with a classy 3,3,3 finish on the last 3 holes. A 2-Ball Scramble is very different from a 3 or 4-Ball and Bogies are not a death-sentence. |
Lovely views today as the sun came out
And a happy 62nd Birthday to Richard Holmes.
