Before I get on with the report, I like to let you know that an entry list has been put up on the notice board for this Friday’s Captain’s charity Greensomes. Two players per team one with low handicap (below 18) and one with higher handicap (19+). Combined handicap is 60% of the lower plus 40% of the higher handicap). Entry fee per person is £2 plus £0.50 2’s option. All the entry money is to go to the charity but 2’s money is shared by teams having 2’s or birdies if there are no 2’s.

We had another really nice day for playing Golf, at least, for the duration of our game. You could say we had the upper hand against the weather once more. There were 38 seniors playing in today’s 3B Bowmaker except one team going as a 2 ball with a random pro scoring 18 points for 9 holes. One team was let down by playing partner abandoning them half way through the round because of a work commitment. It would be nice for people who know they are expecting a work-related call not to commit themselves to team events.

 There were some close scores with teams finishing 2^nd to 4^th wining on their B9 or B6 scores. We had THREE 2’s paying £2 per person per 2’s.
