3-Ball Individual Stableford
Can You help ?
Request from Roy the Pro
Tim Purrett has come into the shop after losing his very
sentimental Royal Birkdale poker chip given to him by a very good friend who is
no longer with us. Lost somewhere between 1st and 12th.
Could you put something on your seniors blog please.

A beautiful sunny, but frosty day with all
holes on winter greens, played tricks
with some while helping others, to achieve some decent scores. Getting a 2 in
these conditions was by pure luck rather than intent as the ball hitting the
ground could have ended up anywhere, so well done to the two teams who managed
to get theirs.
We had 38 eager seniors turning up to play
today’s 3 man individual stableford (all 3 to count). Norman Markby and Rod
Young volunteered to play the monthly rolling stableford scoring 32 and 37
points respectively.
Buggy Ban awaiting Frost to clear thwarted Roger, But Ted, Bert & Mick waited it out and were allowed on the Top 9 by 10:00. Later we saw Terry Hackling back from his neck injury playing with Stuart (call that a slice) Forbes , David Taylor back from eye-surgery , J-Mac from Tatworth-Flu and Mike Light all up to grab a few holes.

JKP Note:- Both 2's were scored by a Richard. The one by 'Sherlock' was in fact an Eagle 2 on the 17th. It was witnessed by Roger Hinds who informs us it missed being an 'Ace' by 2 inches as it slid by the pin and finished just 18 inches away.
The second, by the Chicken Farmer was witnessed by many of us in the 'Start on 16th Group' as his tee-shot drifted left to short of the trees. It was a 20 foot chip that rattled into the hole for a 'two'.
