OK you Guys.
Comedy Night - Open Mic
Thursday 28th February
We only have a small take up for this event, despite great efforts by Clive & Andy in arranging Lifts etc.
There are 160 Seniors out there - but the support for Social Events is becoming very disappointing.
The Captain is happy to open up the event to friends if it helps, but we need at least 24 attending to make it financially viable to run the event.
Please add your names to the list in the next 7 Days or we will have to let it lapse.
Great turnout today as the miserable weekend weather broke to give
is a spring-like Monday. There are 160 Seniors out there - but the support for Social Events is becoming very disappointing.

52 Players competed in a Four Ball Better ball. Although wet
underfoot the course played well with little excuse for none performance. The winning score of
44points, with a fine front score of 24, by Jerry Stephens and Clive Fisk won the day. Phil Dewar and Ian
Frost also returned a score of 44 but after scrutiny was reduced to 43 to take second place. Their card
declared handicaps that had already been reduced by the 90%. Therefore, another 90% was imposed
on what had been declared which as it happens only reduced their total by the
one point. Sorry Guys we know this is strict but there can be no grey areas
when it comes to finalising the competitions.
There were 13 birdies which worked out to be exactly £1 each
player.
