Turkey Trot Medal
Up early in good light to collect the Entry Fees for our first
Turkey Trot only to find the club shrouded in the
dreaded fog.
However, visibility was just playable and some ten sets of players
were able to get away from the first tee.
Many, annoyingly from their own perspective, got off to the best start they
have had for some months, only to be
called in as the fog thickened.
I am writing this with gritted teeth~.
Eventually after much unfounded optimism the competition was cancelled at 10:30am. Looking at the months ahead this comp will
not be
rescheduled.
The next Turkey Trot II ( Stableford) is as listed on Friday 7th December.
The £2.50 entry fee was
refunded to those players available in the bar.
Everyone else will have their fee returned into their Club Account. This may not suit everyone but is far easier for Keith to manage.
My first Comp lost to the
